GCS low-voltage draw-out switchgear is designed for 50/60 Hz distribution systems rated at 380/400/660 V and up to 4,000 A. It is used for power distribution, motor control center (MCC) applications, and reactive-power compensation.

  • Modular Design: A combined 8MF or KS frame with 20 mm modular spacing provides high mechanical strength, flexible assembly, component interchangeability, and easy expansion.
  • Compartmentalized Construction: Separate horizontal-busbar, functional-unit/drawer, and cable compartments use galvanized steel or high-strength flame-retardant barriers to contain faults and reduce arc propagation.
  • Drawer System: Drawer heights are based on a 160 mm module in 1/2, 1, 1.5, 2, and 3-unit sizes. Standardized width and depth provide full interchangeability, while rotary racking and mechanical interlocks control connected, test, isolated, and withdrawn positions.
  • Busbar System: Rear-mounted horizontal busbars and L-shaped vertical copper busbars embedded in flame-retardant supports provide high dynamic and thermal stability, with 50-80 kA short-time and 105-176 kA peak withstand ratings.
